.......WITH HER OWN HANDS.......

"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." Proverbs 14:1  The next few blogs will be devoted to that inconceivable, incomprehensible phrase 

..........."with her own hands"...............

Why would a woman, a wife, knowingly, purposely tear her own house down?  The Bible gives us a clue. She is NOT a wise woman. Actually, she is a "foolish" one.  And if you look up the full definition of that word "foolish" it is: 

 "one who despises wisdom"

" one who mocks when guilty"

 " one who is quarrelsome"

 " one who is licentious" (lacking moral discipline; especially sexually unrestrained)

I assure you that Mrs. Older is not writing these next few blogs with an attitude of never having made mistakes, or never having lacked wisdom.
BUT... NOW.... I have the years behind me to see that those "little" moments when a wife may choose to go with what SHE wants rather than what we KNOW God wants are actually "BIG" moments with BIG consequences.  I want to help you avoid those consequences.  I do. I do. 

Keep being faithful to the ONE who is always faithful to you in those moments you want to hold on to anger, resentment, selfishness, and rage.  Hold on to Jesus instead, focus on HIS LOVE instead in those moments you feel justified in focusing on what you aren't being given rather than on what you can give.  I assure you that there will be hard truth here .... but typed with a soft hand.  I want to ENCOURAGE YOU to keep on the narrow path.  It leads to LIFE.  The easy path will lead to destruction.
