HEART MENDER

Truth is.... a bad marriage... or a difficult one... can rip your heart apart... tear it in two.  Not one woman I know goes in to marriage with the attitude that this covenant she is making before God and people is going to destroy the very life inside her.    Sometimes we can believe that God doesn't realize what we are going through.  But He does.   But that's why He sent His Son.... for broken hearts and wounded spirits...

‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord’.  (Luke 4:18)


Why did Jesus come to earth?  One of the MAJOR reasons God sent Him was to HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED.

• I hear from women whose husbands... as I type this... are hitting them... HARD... knocking them around.  Hiding bruises, hearing yet ANOTHER promise to NEVER DO IT AGAIN.  They have kids... who need food and clothes.. and they STAY because they don't want to believe they are living with a husband who is the husband HE IS.

• I hear from women whose husbands are addicted... ADDICTED... to online pornography... and sadly... some of their husbands are PASTORS.

• I hear from women whose husbands say the MOST devastating things to them about their appearance.

• I hear from women whose husbands have mistresses.....and are not about to give them up.

• I hear from women addicted to alcohol, or GAMBLING, or drugs... and are HIDING IT in fear of being exposed.

• I hear from women whose pastors don't deal with these husbands who hit them, or abuse them, or are addicted to pornography.

• I hear from women who write to me - often anonymously - because they have no one else to "talk" to. 

Jesus is the mender of hearts.
Jesus is the restorer of dreams.
I'm not going to lie and tell you that if you say one prayer that "POOF" everything will change in an instant...
BUT..
IF you begin today to BELIEVE that God sent His Son to heal YOUR broken heart.. and if you continue.. day after day....to keep trusting Him and keep believing JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU..
One day..
He will.

 Your husband will have to answer to God for the kind of husband he is.
Your heart and it's brokenness... matters to God.
Give Him the heart your husband broke... and ask Him to begin your healing. Today.
